Dr. Vinay Vaidya

Dr. Vinay Vaidya is a research scientist, educator, and science writer dedicated to making math and science intuitive for learners of all ages. He was a former Technical Fellow at Boeing, VP of R&D at Siemens, and CTO at KPIT. He has worked on the legendary 747 airplane at Boeing in Seattle, Washington. He has led cutting-edge engineering teams and holds multiple patents across diverse technology domains. Recently, he authored The Jar of Secret Numbers, a story-driven book that demystifies mathematics. The book has been very well received by people of all ages and has sold over 500 copies in a short time.

At heart, Dr. Vaidya remains a teacher. He was a professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University. While teaching at the Department of Technology, he guided doctoral theses in parallel computing, software security, and artificial intelligence, and taught science to children aged 4–14 through playful, narrative-based sessions. He also currently serves on the board of Kinetic Communications Limited.
